Butterfly Stitch-a-long - We have need of more butterfly squares – in particular, pink themed butterfly squares.

Any choice of butterfly pattern is allowed. Your butterfly pattern can incorporate flowers, other animals, or characters. You can sign up as many times as your limit will allow, and the same pattern can be chosen by more than one stitcher. For this Stitch-A-Long, we need pink themed squares, but if you have a burning desire to stitch another colour, we wouldn't say no to an extra square. Purple is also a popular colour.

The purpose of this Stitch-a-long is to boost our Any Child Square stocks. Any Child squares are invaluable for filling vacancies caused by stitchers being unable to complete their sign-up on time and are lovingly called "lifesaver" squares. They are also used on Backfill quilts which are quilts where a shorter delivery time is required, or when we have some spare time to include the construction of another quilt into our schedule.

The deadline for a Stitch-a-long is more flexible than for a child signup so if you are running behind, it isn’t as critical to the construction of a quilt.
