BiographyIt was first discovered that Maxwell had heart problems during his mother's pregnancy - during a scan at 16weeks.
When he was born he was purple and rushed straight to nicu for tests.
He had his first open heart surgery at nine days old, another at around 6months and one last year (2013), plus two catheda procedures.
He had a bowel operation for correcting malrotation of the bowel at one month old, which was followed by seizures and his first stroke. He had a further three strokes after his open heart surgery in 2013 which has left him with a left sidesd deficit
He has epilepsy, had tongue tie, as well as obstructive sleep apnoea - which he had his tonsils and adenoids removed.
He suffered from severe reflux, so had an open Nissen fundoplication in 2011.
